About Baum Blvd Automotive

History

Baum Blvd Automotive owner Chuck Wichrowski started out in the automotive industry in 1989. With a child on the way and a desire to provide a stable future for his family, Chuck set out to run his own shop. He purchased his first gas station in 1989 at the corner of Penn and Negley. Though that gas station is no longer there, Chuck has continued to serve the motorists of the East End.

In 1997, he bought an Exxon station on the corner of Baum Boulevard and Millvale Avenue. While owning and operating the Exxon station was rewarding, Chuck believed that if he was to stay competitive, he would need to invest in a top–of–the–line facility staffed with educated mechanics and equipped with the most advanced tools and diagnostic software. Chuck sold the Exxon station, and opened his own automotive repair shop on Baum Boulevard.
